December 7, France: New Blicci champion

We are very pleased and proud to announce a new phalene champion: Blicci's Done Is Done finished his French championship in Rouen. The judge was Mrs. Moreau de Vincens. Big congratulations and well done to his owners, the family Verhelst!

The International Nordic Winner show is held once a year by turns in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland, and this year it was held in Herning in Denmark. We travelled with Blicci's Floradora who had her debut in official classes. First show, first title: Nordic Junior Winner 2008.

Also we had the great pleasure to see Anne-Lise Helleren & Vidar Skjerahaug who came down from Norway and showed Blicci's Diamonds R Forever to her second Danish CAC. Congratulations!

The judge was Lene Kildeborg Jakobsen from Denmark.

We are happy to announce a new champion offspring of DKCH SECH FICH NORDCH INTCH KLBCH DKKV06 Blicci’s U Are My Universe: Inkies Going to Be A Troublemaker finished his Norwegian championship at the Stord Hordaland show, judged by Ove Germundsson from Sweden. His dam is DKCH Inkies Yes She's Tomorrows Hope and we send our warmest congratulations to owner Margrethe Lundegaard and breeder Kitty Sjong.

November 1, Sweden: New Puppy in the winner circle

We are pleased to hear that Tingates Exceptional Enya, a daughter of  DKCH SECH FICH NORDCH INTCH KLBCH DKKV06 Blicci’s U Are My Universe and Golden Leafs Vienna, went Best Puppy at the international show in Växjö, judged by Annuka Paloheimo from Finland. Congratulations to breeder Alexandra Baker and owners Tina and Daniel Ingelow!

Thank you to both these great families, Rik, Hilde and Leentje in Belgium, and Anne-Lise and Vidar in Norway, for loving our dogs and showing them so well. With such owners it's a true pleasure to be breeders!

Aleksandra Otkinska-Iwicka, Lily's Papillons in Poland, wrote about her boy Ch Inkies Fantasy Journey (DKCH SECH FICH NORDCH INTCH KLBCH DKKV06 Blicci’s U Are My Universe - DKCH Inkies Yes She's Tomorrows Hope): We had a fantastic show weekend in Romania, successful and full of positive emotions: Saturday - CACIB Romana Cupa Transilvania - judge Pietro Paulo Condo (Italy ) - Nino went CAC, CACIB, best male and BOB and finished his International Champion title and Romanian Champion title.
Sunday - CACIB Open Romania  - judge Roberto Schill (Romania) - Nino repeated the results and went CAC, CACIB, best male and BOB.

Big congratulations from us here at Blicci including daddy Chip to both Aleksandra and to Nino's breeder Kitty Sjong. 

Blicci's Floradora, 7 months, did very well at the weekends' shows: Best Puppy in breed at the International Danish Kennel Club show in Ballerup and again at the next day's specialty show in Karlslunde. The judges were Anne-Marie Haugsten from Norway and Kresten Scheel from Denmark respectively. Flora's parents are DKCH KBHV2007 KBHVV2008 Connection Austin Healey and DKCH Menine's High Fidelity. Floradora is undefeated in puppy class and we look forward to showing this very soundly constructed girl in official classes after 9 months of age.

Blicci's Done Is Done took his first French CAC, CACIB and BOB at the international show in Pontoise under judge Mr. Khomasuridze Revaz from Russia. Congratulations and well done to his owners Rik, Hilde and Leentje Verhelst, and good luck at the next shows in France in October!

The Sofiero show in Helsingborg is always a nice tradition and a highly popular show, well arranged and one of the most beautiful venues. This year it was an international show and we went with our little Vipse, Blicci's Dazzling Gold. With a huge papillon entry of 83 we were very pleased and proud to see the judge Mr. Robert Lamont from Ireland awarding Vipse best female No. 2 with CAC and Reserve CACIB. USACH MACH4 Blicci's Sandra Dee, *Star* still continues to impress, now at the age of eight years. She keeps adding new MACH's to her title page, while looking more beautiful than ever. And watch her offspring too. The newest addition to the family is a gorgeous little granddaughter! See Star's own page. Definitely worth visiting too is her owner Andrea and the StarStruck Papillons - enjoy!  

Big congratulations to Marita Lindfors, Cqabeym'z kennel, whose  lovely boy Cqabeym'z Christian Olsson went 2nd best male in breed with CAC at the national show in Böda, Öland. It was Christian's third CAC and since he is now over two years old, this CAC gives him the Swedish champion title. The judge was Bengt-Åke Bogren from Sweden.

Christian's is sired by DKCH SECH FICH NORDCH INTCH KLBCH DKKV06 Blicci’s U Are My Universe out of SECH KBHV-05 NORDUCH Cqabeym'z Mariah Carey. We look forward to seeing Christian entered in Denmark too, going for his Danish championship.

Big congratulations to Erin Hennaert & Lauren Hennaert & Jo-Anne Hennaert, Cornsilks Papillons, on their wonderful BIS win today for their phalene Ch Cornsilks Tiggers Bounce, who is sired by Ch Blicci's All The Jam out of Ch Cornsilks Rare Little Penny. We are very proud grandparents! The show was judged by the famous judge Ms. Sandra Goose Allen.

Big congratulations to breeder/owner Elisa Kamens and handler Maureen Dyer for finishing little Le Bijou White Diamond, aka Bianca, today! She took Winners Bitch and BOS at Virginia Kennel Club's show in Richmond, judged by Kenneth D. Falconi. Well done, girls! Bianca's parents are Ch Le Bijou Crown Royal - Blicci's Belle De Jour. Bianca was last year's PCA National Sweepstakes winner and is now Blicci's Belle De Jour's third champion offspring.

We are delighted to hear the good news that Blicci's Come Rain Come Sunshine (DKCH SECH FICH NORDCH INTCH KLBCH DKKV06 Blicci’s U Are My Universe - Ch Menine's High Fidelity) took CAC, CACIB, best female and BOS at the all breed international show in Kotko. The judge was Veli-Pekka Kumpumäki. Our sincere congratulations to her owner Lea Pirkkalainen. Way to go, Lea and "Sanni"! Sanni is a full sister to our Vipse.

May 25, Denmark: BOB, BISS, CAC and 2 x Best Baby Puppy

The Papillon Club's show in Lund became a highly successful day for us. DKCH Lamonia's Evelina was BOB and BISS, Blicci's Dazzling Gold took her 2nd CAC, and our two new puppies, papillon Blicci's Floradora and phalene Blicci's Francesca, had a nice show debut with Best Baby Puppy in each their breed variety. Thank you to judge Ms. Glenda Cook from Australia.

In Norway Anne-Lise and Vidar had another great success with CAC and BOB to Blicci's Diamonds R Forever both Saturday and Sunday. Congratulations!

April 24, USA: Blicci's Energetic takes a nice win at the MAP match

Jane visited the PCA National Specialty in Frederick, Maryland and had the pleasure to see our handsome young phalene boy Blicci's Energetic, owned by Elisa Kamens, going BOS at Friday's MAP Match. Thanks a lot to judge Ms. Sue Whaley. "Jet" was expertly handled by Maureen Dyer. We are very pleased with this boy, just one year old, whose parents are Ch Blicci's Blue Bayou and Ch Crown Best Inga Of Nikolas & Kira and as such a full brother to Blicci's Done is Done and Blicci's Diamonds R Forever.

Just one week after his win in Monaco, Blicci's Done Is Done took another super win in Antwerpen, Belgium. CAC, CACIB and BOB under judge Ms. Manola Pogessi from Italy, and furthermore he was selected in the main ring.  Great job once again, Leentje and our congratulations to all the family Verhelst. At the international show in Monte Carlo, Monaco, Blicci's Done Is Done took CAC, CACIB and BOB. The judge was Mr. Norman Deschuymere from Belgium. Congratulations to his owners, the family Verhelst!

Our Swedish import, the super elegant papillon female Lamonia's Evelina, finished her Danish champion title today under judge Ms. Annette Bystrup at the Papillon-Klubben's specialty show in Karlslunde. Moreover, Lina went on to be Best of Breed and BISS out of an entry of 44 papillons and 16 phalenes. BOB phalene and BISS-2 was NOCH SECH DKCH NORDCH Thygesminde's Julia, daughter of DKCH DECH DEVDHCH SECH Blicci's Nougat Wonder. Congratulations to the owners Marita Lindfors and Annelise Pedersen and breeder Inge Christensen.

Lina happens to be the forth champion of her litter! The other three ones are USACH Lamonia's Ellington, SECH Lamonia's Enya og SECH Lamonia's Elliot. Big congratulations on a fantastic breeder accomplishment by Inga-Lill Stener, Lamonia's kennel in Stockholm. The litter is sired by SECH DKCH NOCH NORDCH INTCH EUV06 Denemore Noble Perfection and out of SECH FINCH Lamonia's Sirikit.

A well respected papillon and phalene fancier and breeder has left us. Ingegerd Hallberg from Vollsjö in Sweden is no longer here. A severe car accident on a bright sunny morning in March tragically took her life. Ingegerd will be so much missed by everybody who knew her. During the last approx. four years Ingegerd attended most of our shows in Denmark and we will especially remember her beautiful phalene female MultiCh Canifelis Xidra who became the top winning phalene bitch in both Sweden and Denmark. In 2006 Xidra was bred to our boy Ch Blicci's Blue Bayou and gave birth to four female puppies. One of these is pictured to the right, that is little Canifelis Ohlala, owned by Kristine Kjölner. Thank you for everything, Ingegerd. We will miss your smile and friendly nature and your good company.

Ponda's Uncle Unicum had his official show debut at the National show in Næstved. Breed judge Mr. Fujihata Tomio from Japan awarded him Excellent 1st. Thank you very much!

What a day for Margrethe Lundegaard when she showed her charming young boy Inkies Going To Be A Troublemaker, "Alex", to Best in Show at the Norsk Miniatyrhundklubb's show in Sandnes (toy breeds and terriers). Breed judge was Julie Sparrow, England, group judge was Dianne Degryze from Belgium, and BIS judge was Johan Juslin from Finland. Alex is bred by Kitty Sjong and is the litter brother to Willie mentioned below, i.e. by DKCH SECH FICH NORDCH INTCH KLBCH DKKV06 Blicci’s U Are My Universe and DKCH Inkies Yes She's Tomorrows Hope. Best of Opposite Sex in breed was another young one, Marbijo's November Rain. Congratulations to everybody!

Inkie's Going To Be A Wild One, aka Willie, rather made his owner Mary Jo Loye go wild when he finished his American Championship in Detroit under judge Paula Hartinger! Congratulations to Mary Jo and to breeder and co-owner Kitty Sjong. Willie is also Canadian champion and is a son of DKCH SECH FICH NORDCH INTCH KLBCH DKKV06 Blicci’s U Are My Universe and DKCH Inkies Yes She's Tomorrows Hope.
