24 November 2001 - Great show success again
At the Danish Papillon & Phalene Club's Specialty Show in Aalborg, judged by Mr. Chan Weng Woh from Malaysia, DKCH Blicci's Purple Haze was BOS again, Blicci's Trésor was Best Puppy again, and our pretty little phalene bitch Blicci's Tiny Trixie had her show debut with CAC and BOS.

New Danish Champion!
Blicci's Purple Haze got her 3rd CAC at the Danish Kennel Club international show in Herning yesterday. The judge was Mrs. Yvonne Larsson, Sweden. "Futte" was moreover Best Opposite Sex, CACIB winner and qualified for Crufts 2002. Congratulations to her happy owners, Mette & Claus Holm.
23 October 2001 - Blicci Best in Show
At the Danish Papillon & Phalene Club's Specialty Show in Karslunde on 13 October, we had the great pleasure that both the Best of breed papillon, Best papillon puppy and the Best of breed phalene was bred by us. The judge was Mrs. Claire Anne Ahern, breed specialist, from Ireland (Pipistrelle Papillons).

Lotte Copenhagen Winner again DKCH WA97 SCH INTCH KBHV98-01 KLBCH Blicci's Little Wonder got her 2nd Copenhagen Winner title. At the international show in Brøndby she was Best Bitch and BOS. The judge was Mr. N. Huidobro Corbett from Spain.
Blink and you missed it - again!! USACH Blicci's Sandra Dee, "Star", got her Open Jumpers title so her agility titles are now NA, OAJ. She got two firsts and she had the 1st and 2nd fastest times in her classes out of all the heights!

On 29 July the Danish Papillon and Phalene Club held its 25 year Jubilee Show with 70 entries. The judge was Mr. Gert Christensen, Denmark. The show was a great success, also for the Blicci phalenes and papillons. Ch Blicci's LittleWonder was best female in breed and BOS, Ch Blicci's Nougat Wonder 3rd best male in breed, Blicci's Riverdance was class winner and 4th best male in breed, and Blicci's Silvia was class winner.

At the international show in Hillerød on 17 June, Blicci's Silvia got her first CAC and was 2nd best female in breed!

We attended the yearly show on the "Bakken" near Copenhagen, with two puppies, Blicci's Sweet Dreams, papillon and Blicci's Typhoon Tracy, phalene. Both got Best of Breed! Tracy also represented the breed in Junior Handling for smaller children, together with 9-year old Felicia.
Blicci's Nougat Wonder is now also DCH and VDHCH, besides DKCH and KLBCH. Congratulations to his owners, Inge and Bent Christensen.

It has been a wonderful spring with puppies, shows and travelling. Jane attended the US National in Houston, Texas while Sven was taking care of everything at home.... maybe Sven will be the one who is going next year!At the International show in Ringsted on 6th May, Ch Blicci's Little Wonder got BOS phalene and is now the most winning phalene female of the year 2000/2001.

We are proud to announce our first American champion, Blicci's Sandra Dee, NA, NAJ. At just 15 months, "Star" finished last Saturday at the Southside Kennel club show, judge Kenneth Falconi, being Best of Breed for the 4th time in succession, handled by her owner Andrea Samuels. Andrea has done a marvellous job with Star and we are very happy.
Blicci success in Denmark too
At the Danish Papllon Club's show in Froebjerg also on Saturday, Ch Blicci's Nougat Wonder was BOB, his dam Ch Blicci's Little Wonder was BOS, and our 3rd generation homebred phalene Blicci's Tiny Trixie was Best Baby Puppy at her first show. Also papillon Blicci's Riverdance did very well at this show, going 3rd best male. The judge was the breed specialist Erica Bolt from Switzerland, so we are very pleased.

First agility title to Star!
Last news: At two Rhode Island Kennel Club shows, Star got Winners Bitch and Best of Breed both days.
Star has got both beauty, brain and an incredible speed: Besides her show career, she has now started excelling in agility. Already after her third trial, Star's has got her first title: NAJ = Novice Agility Jumper. Welldone, Andrea, and congratulations! We look forward to seeing Andrea and Star at the PCA National 2001 in Houston, Texas on May 2-6.

At Sawmill River Kennel Club under Mr. William DeVilleneuve, Star picked up another major, this one 3 points, and she also won Best of Breed!

At the Metropolitan Area Papillon Club Specialty Show yesterday in Washington, DC, USA, Blicci's Sandra Dee * Star* , owned and handled by Andrea Samuels, went Winners Bitch with a 5 point major! There were about 150 papillons entered in the show. Congratulations, Andrea, this is just wonderful! The judge was Mrs. Lydia C. Hutchinson.
