December 31: Happy New Year to all our friends! Another year has passed, with a lot of fun and good company. Enjoying being together with our good friends, meeting new friends, and keeping in touch with those who are far away. Our sincere thanks to you who showed our Blicci paps and phalenes so well in 2009. We appreciate it all and look forward to seeing you and keeping in touch in 2010. Special thanks to Elisa and Warren for letting Jet come here to spend a year. It's such a pleasure to have this friendly and lovable little guy here with our gang!

November 28, Norway:
A truly wonderful day at the DOGS4ALL International Norvegian Winner show in Lilleström near Oslo: In a phalene entry of 17 with super tough competition, Jet went 2nd best male with CAC and Reserve CACIB, so he is now Norvegian champion. This title completes his Nordic championship too. Thank you very much to the judge Mrs. Glenda Cook from Australia who did once again appreciate the Blicci breed type. Thank you also to our Norvegian phalene and papillon friends for your warm welcome and all your help. Irene Galåen was on the spot with her camera. Thanks a lot! |

November 8, Denmark: Three new titles for Jet The last international show in Denmark was a really big day for DKCH SECH KBHV09 Blicci's Energetic. Jet went Best of Breed with the title Danish Winner 2009. This win further secured him two more prestigious titles: Danish Kennel Club Breed Winner 2009 (top winning phalene at the Danish Kennel Club shows 2009, and this title is given to only one dog, not both male and female) and Club Winner 2009 (top winning male of the year, all shows). Six titles in total after six months here, that's truly amazing. Congrats to his lucky owner in the US, Elisa Kamens! Sunday's judge was Mr. Andreas Schemel from Austria. October 30, Sweden: Jet takes CACIB in Växjö With an impressive entry of 34 phalenes at the international show in Växjö, DKCH SECH KBHV09 Blicci's Energetic took a super nice win going Best Male with CACIB. Thank you very much to the judge Mr. Petru Muntean from Romania. Jet's grandfather MultiCH Kecil Jammin' The Blues went Best Veteran and is now leading the ranking as Best Phalene Veteran of the year in Sweden. Well done and congratulations to his owner and breeder Lise Verburg.

October 22, Puerto Rico: New Blicci champion New American champion: Blicci's Free To Fly, owned and shown by Dimari Isla! Wonderful news, congratulations Dimari! Flyer is our 5th champion this year. Flyer's parents are DKCH KBHV07-08 Connection Austin Healey and DKCH Menine's High Fidelity (Petra) and he is litter brother to our Flora. Petra had 9 puppies in total and of these are three champions, one Nordic winner and one Dutch youth champion.

Denmark: Another nice show day at the Papillon Phalene Club show on 17 October, judged by Svend Løvenkjær. Best of Breed was DKCH SECH KBHV09 Blicci's Energetic and Best of Opposite was his litter sister Blicci's Every Little Thing, owned by Susanne Rasmussen. It was just her 2nd show ever, so very well done. |

October 4, USA: Ch Blicci's Sandra Dee - *Star* - is now MACH5 A grandmother with great speed! At 9 years old Star finished her Master Agility Champion 5 title last weekend. She loves to run but will be retired for the most part now, Andrea tells. BIG congratulations from here! Star is pictured between her famous son Chase, who is MACH7, to the right and her young grandchild, Carly to the left. What a family! We are forever grateful...

September 27/28, Norway: Diamond has a smashing show weekend again Blicci's Diamonds R Forever had another great show weekend in Norway, this time at the shows in Bergen. Judged by Zoran Brankovic on Saturday and Steven Seymour on Sunday, she took BOB with CAC both days. Congratulations and well done to her owners Anne-Lise Helleren & Vidar Skjerahaug!

September 20, Denmark: Jet is now leading the rankings "all systems" 2009 Jet is comfortably leading the Top-10 Phalene male of the year, and his latest win at the Copenhagen winner show sent him on top of the other ranking list in Denmark, the Danish Kennel Club Breed Winner. This title will go to *the* most winning phalene at the DKK international shows, male or female. Jet is now leading this ranking with one single point! Be sure that we will fight for his position!

Sept. 19-20, Denmark:
Jet is Copenhagen Winner 2009 This show weekend was a nice one for us. On Saturday, our phalene progeny group of Ch Crown's Best Inga Of Nikolas & Kira was Best Progeny Group, and on Sunday, our papillon breeder's group was Best Breeder's Group. And not least: DKCH SECH Blicci's Energetic got the title of Copenhagen Winner 2009 and went on to be Best of Breed in an entry of 22 phalenes. Thank you very much to the judge Francesco Cochetti from Italy. August 16, Finland: Another new Blicci champion On the same day as Jet got his champion titles, in another Nordic country Blicci's Come Rain Come Sunshine took her third CAC at the Finnish Papillon & Phalene Specialty in Piikkiö, judged by Ms. Pirjo Aaltonen and is now Finnish champion. August 16, Denmark: New Blicci champion The Danish Kennel Club International Show in Hillerød was a super day for us: Blicci's Energetic took his third CAC which made him both Danish and Swedish champion. And our pretty little Ch Blicci's Dazzling Gold went Best Female and took her first CACIB. Thanks to judge Mr. Kim Bay!

August 14, USA: Tip goes Best Veteran and BOB

What a weekend for
our kennel! It started on Friday at the
Patriot Papillon Specialty in New Hampshire, when Ch Blicci's
Upside Down U Turn Me went BOB and BIS from the veteran class.
Huge congratulations to his owner Christine Robichaud. Tip
is long retired from the show ring but was back for this special
occasion. 77 paps were entered and the judge was Mr. Gunnar Nymann
from Danmark.
Gunnar has always liked Tip's litter brother Chip
and once again he
acknowledged the type. Moreover, he placed Chip's granddaughter Ch
Josandre' First Lady as Best of Opposite. All of this of course
without having the slightest idea of who these dogs were. Thank you
Gunnar! What a day!

August 8, Sweden: Blicci's Energetic takes CAC at his first show in Sweden Jet and Jane travelled to the beautiful show site Ronneby in Sweden, and got a very nice win at the international show: Best male 3rd and CAC, in an entry of 27 phalenes. Thanks to judge Mr. Juha Kares from Finland. This CAC gave Jet the Swedish championship one week after when he got his Danish championship.

August 4, Denmark: Bye bye, dear Lotte DKCH WA97 SECH INTCH KBHV98 KLBCH KBHV01 Blicci's Little Wonder died peacefully in our home today at the age of 15 years old. With her sweet and gentle nature, Lotte will always live in our hearts! Lotte was our phalene foundation bitch, born from papillon parents. After the first slight disappointment about her ears that never went up, we soon fell in love with her charming looks and personality, and she truly became the start of the phalene era for us. Among her offspring are: DKCH KLBCH DCHVDH DCHKLB Blicci's Nougat Wonder, NORV00 DKDCH KBHV02 KLBCH DKKV02 SCH Blicci's Rainbow Wonder. July 25, Danmark: Blicci's Energetic takes his second CAC and BOB
At the Papillon-Phalene Club's summer specialty show in Mosede, Jet had another splendid day, taking his second CAC and BOB phalene. Thank you to breeder judge Linda Kjeksrund (Taspitir Papillons) from Norway who had a lot of praise for Jet. At the end of the day, Jet went Best in Show 2 after the papillon, Toymaker's La Reine. Big congratulations to owner Helle Lund and breeder Marianne Hansen. After five shows in Denmark, Jet is now ranked No. 1 of phalene males!

June 13-14, Denmark: Danish Kennel Club International shows in Vejen Blicci's Energetic made a smashing start of his Danish show career. 2nd best male with Reserve CACIB on Saturday and Best male, CAC, CACIB and BOB on Sunday. Way to go, little guy! Thank you Elisa Kamens for letting Jet come here and have fun in Denmark. As if this was not enough, also Blicci's Floradora was very successful on Sunday, taking her second CAC. And little Blicci's Framboise went Best Puppy in breed both days. We are very pleased with this very elegant young puppy who will be in official classes at her next shows. The judges were Mr. Jan Törnblom, Sweden on Saturday and Mrs. Karin Voye, Germany on Sunday.

May 21, Denmark: Flora and Sven had a great success at the Bakken match show.... While Jane was attending the PCA National in Kentucky, USA, Sven and Blicci's Floradora went to the traditional match show at the old amusement park "Bakken" on Ascension day. Flora went Best of Breed and ended up 2nd in Group at the afternoon's finals. Well done! This is a very special show with a lot of audience and filled with atmosphere and we always enjoy to attend.

May 2, Denmark: Flora is Crufts Qualified 2010 Blicci's Floradora went Best Junior Female at the international Danish Kennel Club show in Aalborg. This show was the official Crufts qualification show for Denmark this year, and Flora qualified for Crufts 2010!

April 25, Norway - New Bertil Offspring Champion Canis Danics Ale Frøkne Á Bayou - "Manolito" -(EUUV05 DKCH SECH KLBV05 KLBV06 KBHV06 KLBCH Blicci's Blue Bayou - SECH DKCH NORDCH INTCH NORDJV 03 Thygesminde's Julia) finished his Norwegian championship at the show in Stange under Leif Herman Wilberg. The next day he was shown in the champion class and was best male. And his son took his first CAC at just 9 months old. We are so pleased to hear that Bertil's line is carried on in such a nice way. Our sincere congratulations to Manolito's Swedish breeder Marita Lindfors and Norwegian owner Bente Sörli!

April 2-5, Puerto Rico: Blicci's Free To Fly makes a smashing show debut with 3 majors
It was a very nice surprise when Dimari Isla from Puerto Rico sent us this great photo and the wonderful news that her young male Blicci's Free To Fly had made such a smashing show debut at the Puerto Rico spring cluster. Best of Breed three days and three four point majors, so Flyer is well on his way to his AKC title. Way to go! Flyer is a litter brother to our Flora. We wish Dimari and Flyer the best of luck at the FCI international shows that are being held next month. |

March 22, Sweden: New Swedish champion, Lamonia's Evelina Our beautiful Swedish girl DKCH Lamonia's Evelina charmed both judge and audience when she showed to perfection and finished her Swedish championship today with CAC and CACIB at the international show in Malmö under Finnish judge Mr. Veli-Pekka Kumpumäki. March, Norway: Two nice show weekends for Diamond Blicci's Diamonds R Forever had two very nice show weekends for her owners Anne-Lise Helleren & Vidar Skjerahaug. At the Nordhordaland Hundeklubb in Manger on March 1, Diamond took CAC and went Best of Breed under judge Mr. Peter Rehanek from the Czech Republic, and on March 21 at the international Norwegian Kennel Club show in Bergen, Diamond took her first CACIB under judge Mr. Peter Jolly from England. At the Danish Papillon-Phalene Club's show in Ringsted, Blicci's Dazzling Gold (Vipse) finished her Danish championship and also became Swedish champion. In the male class, we had the pleasure to see Swedish champion Cqabeym'z Christian Olsson finish his Danish title too. Our sincere congratulations to his owner and breeder Marita Lindfors from Sweden. Vipse and Christian are both sired by our boy Chip, DKCH SECH FICH NORDCH INTCH KLBCH DKKV06 Blicci’s U Are My Universe, so it was a double Chip champ day! Thank you so much to the judge Mrs. Hassi Assenmacher-Feyel from Germany. Until today, Chip has sired a total of just 20 offspring. Of these, seven have gained their champion titles! |
